Handbags

We offer several different sizes and styles of handbags, tote bags, diaper bags, and accessories.  Each bag is constructed with hand-selected decorator fabrics.  The hardware on many of the bags adds a little extra flare to the design of the bag.

 

Neck Candy

We now offer delicious yarn scarves in 10 scrumptious colors: Bubble Gum, Laffy Taffy, White Chocolate, Sweet Tart, Chocolate Covered Cherry, Black Licorice, Sour Apple, Candy Corn, Razzle Berry, and Wild Blueberry!

Each scarf is handmade with many different kinds of yarn consisting of several textures and styles.  The types of yarn may vary slightly in each scarf due to the changing availability of yarn.  The overall look will remain the same though.  To assure the highest quality, each strand of yarn is hand-tied at the end to prevent unraveling.

Our neck candy scarves come in 3 different lengths: 36in.-($33.00),  54in. ($48.00) and 72in. ($63.00).  Our 36 inch scarves are sized for little ones.

Neck candy is available to order at The Poppy Bag Co. parties, or via payment through paypal to thepoppybagco@allcom.net.  Please indicate the color and size of each scarf you are purchasing in the comments section.  Please add a shipping charge of $6 for the first scarf, and $3 per additional scarf.

About Us

The Poppy Bag Company, founded by Stephanie Stevens, is rooted in love and creativity.  In 2005, Stephanie's daughter received a little girls' purse from her grandma, Cindy Scholtens.  Friends quickly began asking for purses to be sewn for their daughters and for themselves as well.  Stephanie and her mom found themselves sewing a lot and that is when the idea originated for a handbag company!  The first in-home bag party was held in November of 2005.  Since then, the company has grown to offer an original line of custom designed handbags, totebags, diaper bags, and accessories.  Together, Stephanie and her mom create each bag from design to finished product by hand selecting fabrics and sewing each handbag themselves.  The company and each of the handbags were given the name of a flower, drawing from Stephanie's background as a florist.  Each bag is sewn to the highest degree of perfection, drawing from Cindy's background as a seamstress.  The Poppy Bag Co. offers online purchasing as well as in-home parties, where you may personally choose your design, fabrics, and accessories.  Creating a bag "as unique as you are" is what we aim to achieve.  In addition, The Poppy Bag Co. has added a gorgeous line of yarn scarves, "neck candy", to their product line and has other fabulous things in the works.  We'd love to share our products with you and add a little creativity to your life!

Care Instructions

We do not recommend washing our products.  If needed, try spot cleaning with a mild detergent and cold water.  Due to the many different contents of our fabrics, discoloration may occur on occasion.  Please note this when cleaning and spot test a small hidden area first.

Shipping

All products will be shipped approximately 4 weeks after receiving the order.  We will use regular ground shipping through UPS or the postal service.  Shipping charges are determined by the weight of the product and the size of the box used for shipping.

Guarantee

Our products come with the highest quality guarantee!  If in a rare case you experience a problem or defect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product and we will make arrangements to repair the product or issue store credit for a new one.  The product must be returned to us in the new, unused condition that it was received.  Items must be shipped back to The Poppy Bag Co. via an insured, trackable shipping service. 

Return policy

All products will leave our business made to the highest quality standards and inspected before being shipped or delivered.  The care that we take in this area assures that the product you receive is one of great quality and without defect.  Due to these high standards, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on products purchased.
